तेलंगाना के नागरकर्नूल जिले के डोमलापेंटा क्षेत्र में श्रीशैलम लेफ्ट बैंक कैनाल (SLBC) टनल का एक हिस्सा ढह जाने से आठ मजदूर अब भी फंसे हुए हैं। यह हादसा उस समय हुआ जब निर्माण कार्य चार दिन पहले ही दोबारा शुरू हुआ था। राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (NDRF) और राज्य आपदा प्रतिक्रिया बल (SDRF) की टीमें लगातार बचाव कार्य में जुटी हैं, लेकिन मलबे और पानी की वजह से ऑपरेशन में मुश्किलें आ रही हैं।

राज्य के मंत्री जे. कृष्णा राव ने घटनास्थल का दौरा करने के बाद कहा कि हालात बेहद गंभीर हैं और मजदूरों के बचने की संभावना कम होती जा रही है। NDRF की टीम पानी निकालने और मलबे को हटाने की कोशिश कर रही है, लेकिन टनल के भीतर गाद और पानी का स्तर चुनौती बना हुआ है।

In Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district, eight workers remain trapped after a section of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapsed near Domalapenta. The incident occurred just four days after construction work had resumed. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are engaged in an extensive rescue operation, but debris and water accumulation inside the tunnel are causing significant delays.

Telangana Minister J Krishna Rao, after inspecting the site, admitted that the chances of survival are grim. The NDRF is working tirelessly to pump out water and clear the debris, but the tunnel’s interior is heavily blocked with silt and water, making rescue efforts more challenging.

1. NDRF ने बताया कि टनल में जमा पानी को निकालने का प्रयास जारी है, लेकिन मलबा रास्ता रोक रहा है, जिससे मजदूरों की सटीक स्थिति का पता नहीं चल पा रहा।
2. NDRF के डिप्टी कमांडेंट सुखेंदु दत्ता के अनुसार, बचाव दल अब तक 13.5 किलोमीटर अंदर तक पहुँच चुका है, जिसमें ट्रेन और कन्वेयर बेल्ट का उपयोग किया गया।
3. टनल में प्रवेश के बाद 11 किलोमीटर का सफर ट्रेन से और बाकी 2 किलोमीटर कन्वेयर बेल्ट और पैदल तय किया गया।
4. अंतिम 200 मीटर पूरी तरह मलबे से भरा हुआ है, जिससे फंसे मजदूरों की स्थिति की पुष्टि कर पाना मुश्किल हो गया है।
5. NDRF के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि वे टनल बोरिंग मशीन (TBM) तक पहुँच चुके थे और वहां से आवाज़ लगाकर मजदूरों से संपर्क करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन कोई जवाब नहीं मिला।
6. टनल के 11 से 13 किलोमीटर के हिस्से में पानी भरा हुआ है, जिसे निकालने के बाद ही बचाव कार्य आगे बढ़ सकता है।
7. SDRF अधिकारियों ने कहा कि टनल में मलबा घुटनों तक पहुंच चुका है, जिससे आगे बढ़ पाना मुश्किल हो गया है।
8. फंसे हुए मजदूरों की पहचान उत्तर प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर, पंजाब और झारखंड के निवासियों के रूप में हुई है। इनमें दो इंजीनियर, दो ऑपरेटर और चार मजदूर शामिल हैं।
9. झारखंड के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री इरफान अंसारी ने कहा कि वे लगातार स्थिति पर नजर बनाए हुए हैं और तेलंगाना सरकार के संपर्क में हैं।
10. सेना की इंजीनियर टास्क फोर्स (ETF) को बचाव कार्य में लगाया गया है, और सेना ने कहा है कि उनका प्राथमिक लक्ष्य फंसे हुए मजदूरों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालना है।

2. NDRF Deputy Commandant Sukhendu Datta stated that the rescue team has covered 13.5 kilometers inside the tunnel using locomotives and conveyor belts.
3. The rescue team covered 11 kilometers by train and the remaining 2 kilometers by conveyor belt and on foot.
4. The last 200 meters of the collapsed section are entirely blocked by debris, making it difficult to determine the condition of the trapped workers.

6. The section between the 11 to 13 km mark is filled with water, which must be drained before the rescue can proceed.
7. SDRF teams reported that debris has reached knee level, making movement inside the tunnel extremely difficult.
8. The trapped workers have been identified as belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Jharkhand. Among them are two engineers, two operators, and four laborers.
9. Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari stated that he is closely monitoring the situation and is in contact with Telangana authorities.
10. The Indian Army’s Engineer Task Force (ETF) from Secunderabad has joined the rescue efforts, with a focus on ensuring the safe extraction of the trapped workers.
