अमेरिका से निर्वासित भारतीय प्रवासियों का तीसरा जत्था रविवार को श्री गुरु राम दास अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे, अमृतसर पहुंचा। इस विमान में 112 प्रवासी सवार थे, जिनमें से सबसे अधिक 44 लोग हरियाणा से थे।
इनमें 33 यात्री गुजरात, 31 पंजाब, 2 उत्तर प्रदेश, और 1-1 हिमाचल प्रदेश व उत्तराखंड से थे। यह फ्लाइट उस सैन्य विमान के ठीक एक दिन बाद आई, जिसमें 117 भारतीय प्रवासी अमृतसर पहुंचे थे।

The third batch of deported Indian immigrants from the US arrived at Shri Guru Ram Dass International Airport in Amritsar on Sunday. The flight carried 112 deportees, with the highest number (44) from Haryana.
Among them, 33 were from Gujarat, 31 from Punjab, two from Uttar Pradesh, and one each from Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This flight landed just a day after a US military aircraft brought 117 deported Indians to Amritsar.

शनिवार को रात 11:35 बजे अमेरिका से आया C-17 सैन्य विमान 117 भारतीय प्रवासियों को लेकर अमृतसर पहुंचा था। इनमें से 65 पंजाब, 33 हरियाणा, 8 गुजरात, 3 उत्तर प्रदेश, 2 महाराष्ट्र और राजस्थान से, जबकि 1-1 गोवा, हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू-कश्मीर से थे।
तीन प्रवासियों ने आरोप लगाया कि उन्हें यात्रा के दौरान हथकड़ी और पैरों में बेड़ियां पहनाई गई थीं। इसके अलावा, पंजाब के पटियाला जिले के राजपुरा के दो युवकों को अमृतसर हवाई अड्डे पर उतरते ही पुलिस ने हत्या के मामले में गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

On Saturday night at 11:35 PM, a C-17 US military aircraft landed in Amritsar carrying 117 deported Indians. Among them, 65 were from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, 8 from Gujarat, 3 from Uttar Pradesh, 2 each from Maharashtra and Rajasthan, and 1 each from Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.
Three deportees alleged that they were handcuffed and their legs were chained during the journey. Additionally, two youths from Rajpura, Patiala were arrested by the police upon landing in Amritsar for their involvement in a 2023 murder case.

इस फ्लाइट के कई यात्रियों ने दावा किया कि पूरे सफर के दौरान उन्हें हथकड़ी और बेड़ियों से जकड़कर रखा गया और उन्हें केवल अमृतसर में उतरने के बाद खोला गया। इस मामले ने देशभर में आक्रोश पैदा कर दिया और विपक्ष ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से इस मुद्दे को अमेरिका के सामने उठाने की मांग की।
इस बढ़ते विवाद के बाद नई दिल्ली ने वाशिंगटन को भारतीय प्रवासियों के प्रति इस अमानवीय व्यवहार पर अपनी चिंता से अवगत कराया।
