Akhilesh Yadav Slams UP Govt Over Kumbh Chaos, Calls It a ‘Serious Crisis’

प्रयागराज में चल रहे महा कुंभ के दौरान सड़कों पर भारी ट्रैफिक जाम ने यात्रियों की परेशानी बढ़ा दी है। समाजवादी पार्टी प्रमुख और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार और प्रशासन पर निशाना साधा है। उन्होंने कहा कि सैकड़ों किलोमीटर लंबा ट्रैफिक जाम न केवल कुंभ में आए श्रद्धालुओं के लिए बल्कि स्थानीय निवासियों के लिए भी मुसीबत बन गया है।
अखिलेश यादव ने दावा किया कि भोजन, अनाज, सब्जियां, दवाइयां, पेट्रोल और डीजल जैसी बुनियादी चीजों की आपूर्ति ठप हो गई है। उन्होंने इस स्थिति को “अत्यंत गंभीर संकट” करार दिया।

A severe traffic jam in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh has caused immense inconvenience to devotees and residents. Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has launched a sharp attack on the state government and administration over the situation. He alleged that the hundreds of kilometers long traffic jam has become a major crisis for both the Kumbh attendees and local citizens.

Yadav claimed that the supply of essential goods like food grains, vegetables, medicines, petrol, and diesel has come to a halt due to the congestion. Calling the situation “extremely serious,” he accused the government of mismanagement.

अखिलेश यादव ने X (पहले ट्विटर) पर पोस्ट कर कहा कि प्रयागराज में लाखों लोग भूखे-प्यासे और थके हुए फंसे हैं। उन्होंने लिखा, “प्रयागराज में चारों तरफ ट्रैफिक जाम है। ना तो खाने-पीने का सामान मिल रहा है, ना ही पेट्रोल-डीजल और दवाइयां उपलब्ध हैं। इससे कुंभ क्षेत्र और प्रयागराज की सड़कों पर फंसे लाखों श्रद्धालुओं की हालत लगातार बिगड़ती जा रही है। यह एक अत्यंत गंभीर स्थिति है।”
यादव ने यूपी सरकार को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए कहा कि व्यवस्थाओं के बड़े-बड़े दावे किए गए थे, लेकिन सरकार कुप्रबंधन के कारण कुंभ में आए श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा और सुविधा सुनिश्चित करने में पूरी तरह विफल साबित हुई है।
“Devotees Hungry, Thirsty, Exhausted” – Akhilesh Yadav
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Akhilesh Yadav stated that millions of people in Prayagraj are hungry, thirsty, and exhausted, stuck due to the traffic mess. He wrote, “There is an all-around traffic jam in Prayagraj. Essential items like food grains, vegetables, petrol, and medicines are unavailable. As a result, millions of devotees stranded in Kumbh and on Prayagraj’s roads are suffering more with every passing hour. This is an extremely serious situation.”
Yadav criticized the UP government for its failure in managing the crowd and traffic, saying that despite tall claims of efficient planning, the administration has completely failed to provide basic facilities for Kumbh visitors.
