अनिल कुंबले का मानना है कि भारत को चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी के सेमीफाइनल में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ उसी चार-स्पिनर रणनीति को जारी रखना चाहिए, जो न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ कारगर साबित हुई थी। भारत ने पिछले मैच में हर्षित राणा की जगह वरुण चक्रवर्ती को बतौर चौथे स्पिनर टीम में शामिल किया था। शुरुआत में इस फैसले को लेकर आलोचना हुई, लेकिन वरुण ने पांच विकेट लेकर अपनी उपयोगिता साबित की।

Will India Retain Its Four-Spinner Strategy?

Anil Kumble believes that India should stick to the four-spinner strategy in the Champions Trophy semifinal against Australia, which worked effectively against New Zealand. India had replaced Harshit Rana with Varun Chakravarthy as the fourth spinner in the previous match. Initially, this decision faced some criticism, but Varun silenced his critics with a brilliant five-wicket haul.

पूर्व भारतीय कोच अनिल कुंबले ने कहा कि सेमीफाइनल में भी पिच स्पिनरों के लिए अनुकूल रहने वाली है और इसीलिए वरुण चक्रवर्ती को प्लेइंग इलेवन में जगह जरूर मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा, “मुझे नहीं लगता कि पिच में कोई बदलाव होगा। यह न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ जैसी थी, वैसी ही रहेगी। मुझे लगता है कि भारत चार स्पिनरों के साथ ही उतरेगा और वरुण चक्रवर्ती निश्चित रूप से खेलेंगे।”

Varun Chakravarthy’s Spot is Certain: Kumble

Former India coach Anil Kumble stated that the pitch would once again favor spinners in the semifinal, making Varun Chakravarthy a certain pick for the playing XI. He said, “I don’t think the pitch is going to change. It will remain the same as it was against New Zealand. I believe India will go with four spinners, and Varun Chakravarthy will certainly play.”

शमी को लेकर संदेह, लेकिन बदलाव की संभावना नहीं

कुंबले ने मोहम्मद शमी को लेकर कहा कि वह पिछले मैच में कंधे पर चोट लगने के बावजूद गेंदबाजी करने में सहज दिखे। इसलिए टीम में कोई बदलाव होने की संभावना कम है। उन्होंने कहा, “अगर कोई बदलाव हो सकता है तो वह शमी का हो सकता है। उन्हें कंधे पर चोट लगी थी, लेकिन वह सहज दिखे, इसलिए भारत शायद ही अपनी प्लेइंग इलेवन में बदलाव करेगा।”

Doubt Over Shami, But No Expected Changes

Kumble mentioned that while Mohammad Shami suffered a shoulder injury in the last match, he seemed fine while bowling, making it unlikely that India would alter its playing XI. He said, “The only possible change could be Shami. He got hit on his shoulder, but he looked fine when he bowled. So, I don’t see that as an issue. India is likely to go with the same XI against Australia.”

चार स्पिनरों का संयोजन भारत के लिए फायदेमंद

कुंबले ने कहा कि भारतीय टीम के पास चार बेहतरीन स्पिनर हैं, जो दुबई की परिस्थितियों में अहम भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा, “यह पिच चार स्पिनरों के लिए पूरी तरह अनुकूल है। सभी चारों क्वालिटी स्पिनर हैं। ऐसे में 40 ओवर की स्पिन गेंदबाजी और 20 ओवर की पेस गेंदबाजी के साथ भारत को कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी।”

Four-Spinner Combination Beneficial for India

Kumble asserted that India’s four spinners are top-quality and well-suited for Dubai’s conditions. He remarked, “The pitch is ideal for four spinners. All of them are quality bowlers. With 40 overs of spin and 20 overs of pace, India has nothing to worry about.”
