दिल्ली के एक दंपति और उनके दो बच्चों की सोमवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के फतेहाबाद क्षेत्र में लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेसवे पर सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने मृतकों की पहचान 42 वर्षीय ओमप्रकाश सिंह, उनकी 34 वर्षीय पत्नी पूर्णिमा, 12 साल की बेटी आहना और 4 साल के बेटे विनायक के रूप में की है। यह परिवार बिहार के मोतिहारी जिले का रहने वाला था।
A Delhi-based couple and their two children lost their lives in a road accident on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehabad area on Monday. The deceased have been identified by the police as Omprakash Singh, 42; his wife Purnima, 34; their daughter Ahana, 12; and their four-year-old son Vinayak. The family hailed from Motihari district in Bihar.
प्रयागराज से लौटते समय हुआ हादसा
पुलिस के अनुसार, हादसा रात करीब 12:30 बजे हुआ जब यह परिवार प्रयागराज के त्रिवेणी संगम में स्नान करने के बाद दिल्ली के उत्तम नगर स्थित अपने घर लौट रहा था।
According to the police, the accident occurred around 12:30 am while the family was returning to their home in Uttam Nagar, Delhi, after taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj.
हादसे का कारण
पुलिस का मानना है कि हादसा कार चालक के वाहन से नियंत्रण खोने के कारण हुआ। सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त अमर दीप ने कहा, “प्रारंभिक जांच से पता चलता है कि ड्राइवर नींद की झपकी लेने के कारण वाहन पर से नियंत्रण खो बैठा, जिससे यह दुर्घटना हुई।”
The police suspect that the accident was caused by the driver losing control of the vehicle. Assistant Commissioner of Police Amar Deep stated, “Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver might have dozed off, leading to the accident.”

हादसे की परिस्थितियां
सूत्रों के मुताबिक, कार अनियंत्रित होकर एक्सप्रेसवे पर विपरीत दिशा से आ रहे मिनी ट्रक से टकरा गई। कार बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई और सभी चारों लोगों को घातक चोटें आईं। फतेहाबाद पुलिस स्टेशन की टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर कार में फंसे शवों को बाहर निकाला।
Sources revealed that the car lost control and collided with a mini truck coming from the opposite direction on the expressway. The vehicle was severely damaged, and all four passengers succumbed to fatal injuries. Police from Fatehabad police station arrived at the scene and extricated the bodies trapped in the car.

एक्सप्रेसवे का विवरण
लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेसवे 302 किलोमीटर लंबा है और यह उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ को आगरा शहर से जोड़ता है।

इसी एक्सप्रेसवे पर दूसरा हादसा
24 जनवरी को दिल्ली-आगरा हाईवे पर मथुरा के पास हुए एक अन्य हादसे में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई। उनकी कार एक खड़े ट्रक से टकरा गई थी।
In a separate incident on January 24, two men lost their lives after their car collided with a stationary truck on the Delhi-Agra highway near Mathura.
हादसे का विवरण
जैत थाने के एसएचओ अश्विनी कुमार ने बताया कि हादसा चौमुहां कस्बे के पास हुआ, जहां कार पीछे से ट्रक में घुस गई। कार का अगला हिस्सा ट्रक में फंस गया और आगे बैठे दोनों यात्रियों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
Jait SHO Ashwini Kumar stated that the accident took place near Chaumuhan town when the car rammed into the truck from behind. The front portion of the car got stuck in the truck, and the two passengers in the front seats died on the spot.
मृतकों की पहचान
पुलिस ने मृतकों की पहचान मथुरा के अकरपुर निवासी 25 वर्षीय गिरधर और 28 वर्षीय देवेंद्र सिंह के रूप में की है। घायल यात्री राम किशन (34) को गंभीर पीठ की चोटों के साथ अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।
The deceased were identified as Girdhar (25) and Devendra Singh (28), residents of Akbarpur in Mathura. The injured passenger, Ram Kishan (34), was hospitalized with severe back injuries.
